Just wanted to share with you all the great learning experience I had whilst doing one of Sue's courses.
I wanted to learn more about the horse, it's behaviour and also how the horse has evolved. I also wanted techniques I could use with my own horses and also learn a better way of understanding them. I have always shown a great interest in animals and love the constant learning which I think stems from my burning desire I have always wanted which was to be a vet which is one of my biggest regrets.
I love to learn and by doing one on Sue's courses enabled me to still do my day to day work and study when I needed to.
I did the home study Applied Equine Behaviour Course and it was absolutely fantastic. I don't think I have ever learnt so much as I did doing this course. All of the topics were so varied and I would complete the assignments and then send them off for marking and get my teeth into the next assignment. There was so much varied learning material but the course also gave me a chance to research certain topics further.
By doing this course it has given me great insight into how the horse works and why they sometimes carry out certain behaviours. From topics like how the horse evolved to more detailed things every horse owner should use on a daily basis like vital signs.
